Ofil's solar blind technology was originally designed to
detect and locate phenomena of fire and flames.
The
DayCor®
camera can be integrated as a major detecting component in fire monitoring
systems for ranches of gas and oil cisterns and in installations of
the chemical industry.
Video images from cameras can be transmitted to a control center.
Invisible
'blue' flames detection:
The SBUV technology
is especially applicable for the detection of alcohol flames and hydrogen
flames, which emit mostly in the ultraviolet band.
Alcohol & hydrogen fuels are used in chemical industries.
Hydrogen fuel is used in launching pads and even in modern vehicles
engines. Protection
of fuel loading gantries such as automatically fuel filling
stations and loading trucks.
The
DayCor®
camera has to be installed on a tower facing the filling station,
at a distance of 100 - 200 meters.
A DayCor®II
gimbaled platform will enable periodic rotation in a defined angle
covering a filling station Forest
fire detection:
a small Forest fire can be detected by the
DayCor®
up to a several kilometers distance. There are no false alarm from
heat and sun reflection.
